007 - St. Giles, the Arrowhead Cocktail, and Drinking Like a Saint Pt. 1

EP7: St. Giles, the Arrowhead, and How to Drink Like a Saint, Pt. 1

Mike and Alexandra discuss St. Giles, the incredible story of how he got his sustenance, and the unfortunate results of poor hunter’s safety training in France in the 600’s.

They also open their five-part series on drinking like a saint by talking about a virtue that Mike refers to as “sexy,” although Alexandra finds that description a stretch.

St. Giles: September 1st

Drink: The Arrowhead

1 Egg White

1 oz Whiskey

¼ oz. Sweet Vermouth

¼ oz. Dry Vermouth

1 oz. Lemon juice

Pour all ingredients into a shaker without ice and dry shake forty times. Then add ice and shake again. Strain into a cocktail glass.
